Man charged in connection with serious assault in Inverness

A 23-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a serious assault that took place on Kessock Road at around 11am on Tuesday, November 2.

A 65-year-old man was taken to hospital following the incident.

The 23-year-old man was due to appear in Inverness Sheriff Court today.

Chief Inspector Judy Hill, Inverness area commander, said: “We are committed to tackling instances of violent crime and would encourage anyone with any concerns to contact police by calling 101.”
