Inverness man admits shouting and swearing at Raigmore Hospital receptionist

A 51-year-old Inverness man who was abusive towards a receptionist at Raigmore Hospital will be sentenced next month.

Colin MacLeod, of Rowan Road, Inverness appeared before Sheriff Gary Aitken and admitted behaving in a threatening or abusive manner towards the woman on September 10, last year by shouting, swearing and acting aggressively towards her.

Defence solicitor Willie Young told Inverness Sheriff Court that a criminal justice social work report may be useful and Sheriff Aitken deferred the case for that purpose until January 9.
