Bidding began this morning at 10am in Dingwall Auction Mart to raise money for two Inverness charities.

The auction is raising money for Maggies Highland and The Highland Hospice.

Today, bidders have a choice between 496 items to set their sights on.

A good crowd gathered to begin the sales in the morning, as they enjoyed food and drink from local businesses that were on site.

Items fetched a high price between in person and online bidding.

A bottle of Glen Ord single malt sold for £240.

There is plenty more to come, as the auction continues until 3pm.
