Fortrose Library staged its seventh Harry Potter evening with 20 children visiting the Magical Menagerie where they encountered dancing rat, giant purple toads, a stunning phoenix and even a Grindylow in a tank.
They enjoyed making Bowtruckle terrariums before listening to a spooky reading from Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

There were special congratulations to Moaning Myrtle and Bellatrix Lestrange, who won prizes for having the best costumes.
Librarian Sya Bruce said: “Once again, the evening was a huge success and we can't wait until next year!".
