Highland Council warns of a road closure on a stretch of Seafield Road in the Longman Industrial Estate later this month

Motorists are being warned to expect the evening and overnight road closure of a busy Longman Industrial Estate road in Inverness later this month.

The section of Seafield Road to be temporarily shut is shown on a map copied here from the authority's Twitter page.

From Wednesday next week (September 22) to Tuesday September 28, the road will close between the bus depot and the first left turning T-junction between the hours of 8pm and 6am.

The council said the closure was to enable contractors, working on its behalf, to carry out resurfacing works.
