Liverpool duo charged with drug dealing in Inverness

Two Liverpool men have made a private appearance at Inverness Sheriff Court charged with being concerned in the supply of drugs in Inverness.

Kyle Bailey and James Donahue, both aged 24, made no plea to the charges which involved supply of cocaine and possession of cannabis, and breaching special bail conditions not to enter Scotland.

In addition, it was alleged that Donahue culpably and recklessly tried to escape from a house in St Valery Avenue, Inverness on December 12 by jumping through the attic floor, dropping down onto the floor below and endangering the lives of people in the property.

He was also charged with resisting arrest.

They were committed for further examination and both were remanded in custody.
