“It was very very challenging - much more than we expected it to be! But there was a great sense of achievement after it and we are all so buzzed to have completed it.”

Out of the 17 taking part, finishing times for the challenge varied between just over eight hours and 13 hours.

Louise continued: “There were a lot more hills than we expected and we were very lucky with the weather for the first five hours but then the rain came on!”

She concluded: “We are really chuffed at how much has been raised and it will do a lot to help Held in our Hearts in the Highlands.
