One of Scotland’s leading independent forestry management companies has enhanced its presence in the North by opening a new office in the Highlands.

RTS Forestry, which provides professional forest management, harvesting and contracting services, has officially opened a new base in Inverness to further service their current clients and develop new relationships in the region.

The company operates from their purpose-built head office in Crieff with regional offices spanning the length of the country including Hexham in Northumberland, Aboyne, Aberdeenshire and now their latest office opening in Cradlehall Business Park in Inverness.

With a strong focus on providing a personalised service to each of their clients, RTS Forestry has a reputation for exceptional service in the sector. This quality service is one they are proud to continue to deliver across the north of Scotland.

Norman O’Neill, managing director of RTS Forestry, said:

“As an independent forestry management company, our clients and the relationships we build with them are absolutely key.

“We have a number of clients all across the Highlands and, as our work load in the area continues to increase, we felt the time was right to open a new office in Inverness to really enhance the bespoke service we offer.”

The Inverness team will be led by senior forest manager Sandy Pringle working with Inverness-born forest manager Emily Gerrard.

Ms Gerrard said: “With many established RTS Forestry clients already in the Highlands, it’s really exciting to have an Inverness base and I am looking forward to getting to know more of the local farmers and landowners.”
