Digby Brown Solicitors make Inverness appointments

Personal injury firm Digby Brown Solicitors has appointed four new partners among a record round of 21 promotions.

Among those being made partner is Sam Cowie from Inverness.

And Sarah Newman, also in the Inverness office, has been promoted to senior solicitor.

Sarah Douglas, Diane Cooper and Kirsty O’Donnell in Glasgow have also all become partners in the specialist firm.

There are six promotions to associate: Euan Robertson in Dundee, Louise McCulloch, Joy Bell and Stephen Duff in Glasgow, Isla McKnight in Ayr and Izabela Wosiak in the Edinburgh office.

The eleven who advance to senior solicitor are: Chris Ritchie in Dundee, Fiona Bissett in Kirkcaldy, James Stephen in Glasgow, Ms Newman in Inverness, Paul Thomson and Kimberley McLennan in Aberdeen, and five in the Edinburgh office – Magdalena Wlochal, Donald Mackay, Simon Dempsey, Sarah Hobkirk and Louise Moffatt.

Digby Brown said the record number followed a year of post-Covid-19 growth that saw the firm recover more than £150m in damages for clients.
