Drivers have been urged to approach "with caution" after reports of a landslip on the A82 near Urquhart Castle.

In an update shortly before midday Traffic Scotland was warning that temporary traffic lights had been erected, reducing the road to one lane following "a movement of material from the hillside".

The exact location of the slip is not known, with Traffic Scotland's website and social media accounts identifying slightly different locations - but both given are to the south of Drumnadrochit - either "at Urquhart Castle" or at Bunloit.

Traffic was moving slowly at both locations at the time of writing.

Bear Scotland, which maintains the A82, and the police have been approached for further details.
