Lakeland will be relocating to Simpsons Garden Centre after it was announced that it is closing its doors in the Eastgate Centre after a decade.

The doors of the new store are expected to open in mid-March inside the garden centre on Culloden Road.

All staff will be retained in the move.

A spokesperson for Lakeland said: “Overlooking the stunning Black Isle on the outskirts of the city of Inverness, Simpsons flagship centre is a home and garden destination.

“The brand new Lakeland store will be located right next to the entrance to the Garden Centre and staffed by our team of friendly and knowledgeable colleagues.

“With ample car parking available on site, we’re excited to welcome customers into store as they enjoy everything the garden centre has to offer including delicious meals served throughout the day in the ‘Glasshouse’ restaurant.”
