Ladies first at Highland Business Women awards

THE annual Highland Business Women (HBW) Awards took place in the Drumossie Hotel in Inverness, with seven individuals and organisations singled out for their impact on local business and the wider Highland community over the last 12 months.

This year’s winners at the event, which was hosted by well known local broadcaster Nicola McAlley, were:

  • New Business of the Year – DeepMiner Ltd
  • Most Enterprising Business – Planit Scotland
  • Excellence in Community Engagement – Morrison Construction
  • Businesswoman of the Year – Nadine Riddell, Equiom Scotland
  • Team of the Year – Bad Girl Bakery
  • Third Sector Organisation – Fèis Rois
  • Most Inspiring Woman – Lorien Cameron-Ross, Loch Ness Spirits
