Loch Ness RNLI volunteers in for a treat as they are joined by 11 labrador puppies
A Loch Ness lifeboat crew welcomed new very pawesome members for a special photoshoot.
The RNLI team was joined by 11 labrador puppies after one of the volunteer’s dogs, Roxy, gave birth.
A post on the local lifeboat’s Facebook page showed the young volunteers in action with the rest of the crew.
Each of the puppies has been named after a class of lifeboat: Mersey, Severn, Tamar, Shannon, Trent, Atlantic, Ruby, Tyne, Watson, Waveney, and Arun.
In the post they stated: “How many Labrador puppies can you fit in an Atlantic 85 Lifeboat? 11!
“Volunteer helm Kieron has his hands and house very full after his dog Roxy gave birth to 11 puppies and we obviously couldn't let the chance for a photo op to pass us by! Fortunately we had lots of offers of help with the photos although Kieron did have to count them back into his car and make sure none of us had 'accidentally' stashed one in a pocket or up a jumper.
“All the pups have got KC registered names and he hit upon the idea of naming each one after a class of lifeboat, which we think is a brilliant idea.”
