Kinder Egg containing drugs found near Gruffalo Walk in Inverness

Police are investigating claims drugs were left inside the casing of a Kinder Egg toy by the side of a popular path used by families in Inverness.

It is understood that a mum, reported to police that a youngster found it in the Gruffalo Walk near Culloden.

A police spokesman said: "Police received report after a Kinder Egg with an unknown substance inside was found in Culloden Woods on Monday. Inquiries are ongoing.”
