UPDATE: Kessock Bridge reopens after earlier incident

Kessock Bridge has been closed due to a ‘police incident’.

Traffic Scotland is reporting that the key section of the A9 - connecting Inverness and the Black Isle - was closed in both directions at 8.36pm today.

People are being advised to use an alternative route.
