Judo star Stephanie Inglis to go back to Inverness school as its guest

COMMONWEALTH Games silver medallist Stephanie Inglis is returning to her secondary school as guest speaker at this year’s awards ceremony.

Judo star Stephanie was given a one per cent chance of survival after suffering horrific injuries in a motorcycle accident in Vietnam last year.

Stephanie, who recently started a new job and hopes to compete again, will speak at the S4 to S6 awards ceremony at Millburn Academy on Thursday, June 8.

Meanwhile, Roddy Riddle, the first Scot to complete the 6633 Arctic Ultra, a gruelling race across the frozen wastes of the Arctic, is guest speaker at the S1 to S3 awards ceremony on Wednesday, June 7.
