Bella is the best - and that’s official after the popular music event was named Scotland’s festival of the year.

The Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival was shortlisted for the award at this year’s Scottish Live Music Awards last night (Wednesday).

And delighted organisers were over the moon after they took the coveted award.

Taking to their social media channels on Thursday, a spokesperson for Belladrum said: “Festival coordinator Naomi’s expression says it all!

“We’re excited and incredibly proud to have won Festival of the Year at the Scottish Live Music Awards last night!

“This award feels extra special because it started with public votes and was finalised by a judging panel. Knowing that our amazing Belladrum audience took the time to nominate us in the first place means the world.

“A huge well done to runner up and fellow shortlist nominee TRNSMT, too.

“Thank you to each and every one of you who made this possible and for this recognition. Proud us punch!”

Belladrum returns next summer, with tickets already on sale for the three-day spectacular from July 31 to August 2.

Acts already confirmed include Texas, Paul Heaton, Example, Tide Lines, Torridon, The Hoosiers and more.
