People have been making detours to Cradlehall to look at this brightly decorated home.

It is understood that it could be the first property in Inverness to be decorated ahead of the festive season.

Lisa Carter, together with husband Aaron, decided to bring some festive cheer to folk as the nights got darker.

She said she had seen people stopping in their cars outside the Screaton Burn Place property while they enjoyed the sight.

"We took them down from the loft early and decided they would cheer people up," she said. "The response has been positive."
