Inverness TFX Performing Arts pupils ‘did themselves proud’ as they show off dancing skills at Ness Factor 2024
Inverness dance pupils were in for a treat as they supported Ness Factor’s finalists during the big show.
Performance company members at TFX Performing Arts Academy danced the night away at the Drumossie Hotel as they were a key part of the show.
Starting off by accompanying Torridon singer Kenny Smith, who was the presenter on the night, they went on from one choreography to another supporting the various finalists in their performance at the finals.
According to TFX’s Head of Dance, Elise Ogilvie, the students “did themselves proud”.
She said: “What a fantastic evening, we are so proud to be part of such a great event raising phenomenal money for the Highland Hospice.
“The amount of time that goes into rehearsals is worthwhile watching these amazing acts come to life on stage. We have been so lucky working with such kind people who have really gone above and beyond and treated our students so well.
“The Performance Company have done themselves proud this evening and we can’t wait for next year already!”
One of the pupils, Emily Brown, who danced solo for contestant Leanne Mackay, said it was such a beautiful experience.
She said: “I'm so grateful I got to dance for Leanne and help bring her performance to life. The whole evening has been inspiring.”
Starr Marshall, who was at her first Ness Factor experience, added: “It's so fun to see everything we have been practicing come to life on stage, the audience have been incredible. I can't wait to experience this again.”
