Inverness sweet shop donates treats to NHS staff and patients on the children's ward of Glasgow's Queen Elizabeth Hospital during coronavirus crisis
Mr Simms Olde Sweet Shoppe, which has outlets in both Inverness and Aviemore, has given a bumper donation to staff and children at Glasgow's Queen Elizabeth hospital.
In a Facebook post this week the business showed a photograph of the sweet hamper which was given to thank the hard working staff and brighten up their Easter.
The post read: "Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Glasgow, just received a bumper donation from Mr Simms Aviemore and Inverness for the hard working NHS staff and the children in the children's ward to make their Easter a happy one. Thank you our NHS from Mr Simms."
It follows last week's announcement that the Inverness shop would be closed temporarily during the coronavirus pandemic to protect both staff and customers. The shop is currently offering a free delivery service within a 10-mile radius of the store.
