INVERNESS SHERIFF COURT: Kickcudbright man assaulted woman and boy at Nairn caravan park

A KIRKCUDBRIGHT man will be sentenced next month after admitting assaulting a woman and a teenage boy at a Nairn caravan park.

Andrew McMillan (51) of High Claggan, Tongland appeared at Inverness Sheriff Court and admitted the two offences which occurred on May 28 this year.

Sheriff Gordon Fleetwood was told that McMillan attempted to repeatedly punch the boy and punched the woman on the head.

Sentence was deferred until August 18.
