In that category, the Royal Academy were up against the duo of Leigh Anderson and Mark Steenson, Louise Shields, Dunfermline’s Queen Anne High School and Scott Whitefield.

It is the second year in-a-row that the award has come up to the Highlands, as last year the same category was won by south area learning and education manager Fiona Shearer.

Education was not the only category to have a north winner either, as Pride In Moray took home the Charity/Group Initiative Award.
