Inverness road closures for Race for Life

Motorists are advised that various streets in Inverness will be closed during the Race for Life event tomorrow.

In addition to the closures listed below, the Infirmary Bridge will be closed on the grounds of "health and safety", according to Highland Council.

  • Bught Road closed at its junction with Bught Avenue to its junction with Ness Walk Upper between 8am and 1.30pm.
  • Ness Walk Upper closed at its junction with Bught Road to its junction with Ballifeary Lane between 8am and 1.30pm.
  • Ness Walk Upper closed at its junction with Ballifeary Lane to its junction with Bishop’s Road between 8am and 1.30pm.
  • Ardross Terrace closed at its junction with Ness Walk and its junction with Ardross Street, between 8am and 1.30pm.
  • Ness Walk closed at its junction with Young Street to its junction with Ardross Terrace, between 8am and 1.30pm.
  • Castle Road closed at its junction with Haugh Road and its junction with Bridge Street, between 8am and 1.30pm.
  • Ness Bank and Cavell Gardens Road closed to through traffic between its junction with Castle Road and its junction with Island Bank Road, between 8am and 1.30pm. Access to local properties will be maintained from the junction with Castle Road.
