Pupils from Balloch Primary in Inverness proved they had all the right tricks by lifting the National Minibridge Trophy.

It is the second time the school has lifted the trophy after having achieved the same success in 2015.

Prior to the pandemic, senior pupils in the school were taught minibridge, face-to-face by experts from the Scottish Bridge Union (SBU).

Since 2020 they have been learning online and sessions were led by Tim Wickens and a pool of volunteers from the SBU.
