An Inverness school has rebranded its building with designs made by pupils.

The four blocks of Holm Primary School were previously known simply as A, B, C and D but have now been named Little Lambs, Brilliant Bees, Clever Coos and Chilled Trees, with signs made by the Inverness Sign Centre to the pupils' own specifications.

Head teacher Ruth Mackay said: “We held a design competition among our pupils and are very happy the signs have arrived. The children were really excited – we had around 250 entries and the secretaries voted for the best ones.”

The winning designs were produced by Eliza Greening (P1), Abigail Millar (P4), Grace Mackenzie (P6) and Amy Lavender (P7).
