AN Inverness primary school teacher held a popular quiz online during the coronavirus lockdown.

Mike Ross, who usually teaches at Holm Primary, staged 10 quizzes via his @MrRoss_Primary Twitter account.

He said he was pleased people enjoyed taking part.

"I thought that something weekly to look forward to would help make it easier to bring everyone together," he said.

"There was a lot of laughter.

"Having something that the community could jointly participate in helped boost morale.

"I want to say a huge thank you to the wonderful families for their participation and to the families and staff for their brilliant support."
