Inverness will be piloting clinics on an online portal enabling people to book in for their Covid-19 booster and/or flu vaccine.

The clinics will initially be trialled for two days – November 26 and 27 – at Smithton Church in Inverness. They are available to book via the online portal here.

A spokesman said: "To use the portal individuals will need their unique vaccination username. If this is not readily available, it can be located or reset at NHS Inform’s recover username page. If you have never logged in before, you can recover your username by using the 'recover username' option.

"If you had previously registered and have lost or forgotten your username or password, you can recover your username or create a new password by selecting the recover username or forgotten your password options."

Those requiring further assistance should contact the National Helpline 0800 030 8013.

If this two day pilot is successful NHS Highland will add more clinics in other locations across the organisation.

Booking via the on-line Portal is optional, if you don’t want to book in using this service you will still be contacted and invited to attend a local clinic for your appointment.
