A 'jam packed' virtual event will discuss the links between TV show Outlander to the national bard tomorrow evening.
The online Facebook event, that is free for anyone to join, will explore the influence of poet Robert Burns on the Outlander series, and why Burns is such an influential character in Scottish history.
The event is being run in association with MacGregor's Bar, Inverness, taking place on Tuesday January 26 at 7pm.
The event expects to attract a worldwide audience of Outlander fans.
Outlander is a historical drama television series based on the novel series of the same name by Diana Gabaldon.
A spokeswoman for Inverness Outlanders said: "We are very excited about our jam-packed Inverness Outlanders Live show in association with MacGregor's Bar.
"The show will feature lots of chat, interviews and music about Scotland’s national bard, the city of Inverness and, of course, many Outlander connections and references.
