Inverness Nationwide branch 'temporarily' closed and customers asked to go online

Nationwide building society has posted a message on its website saying it has had to temporarily close its Inverness branch.

The business, at 16 Eastgate, has closed and customers are being directed online to speak to staff.

The message states: "We've had to temporarily close your branch. We're sorry if this causes you problems. But you can still use any of our other branches while we're closed.

"If you want to message us, please use the 'Speak to your branch team' button online at https://locations.nationwidebranches.co.uk/inverness/16-eastgate. This is a temporary service during your branch closure and is available Monday to Friday from 9am until 5pm.

"It will end when the branch re-opens.

"You can also call us on 0800 30 20 11, visit nationwide.co.uk or manage your accounts using our Internet Bank and Banking App."
