Returning customers of Inverness Leisure will notice quite a difference in the layout and offering now available at the leisure centre.

Covid-19 restrictions meant that gym equipment had to be moved around to accommodate social distancing and provided the added benefit of bringing forward plans to reconfigure the site for the longer term.

As part of the new layout High Life Highland has utilised the existing café space to extend the gym area on the upper floor and has introduced Café Aqua beside the leisure waters which also incorporates a new outside seating area.

The new café offers customers the chance to relax and enjoy a coffee and food after their gym or swim session or when children are participating in activities like swimming lessons without leaving the site.

Graham Cross, commercial manager for High Life Highland, said: “It is great to see more people returning in larger numbers and the feedback we have had on the new layout has been very positive with the outside seating area proving very popular with customers.”

The café is open from 10am until 4pm seven days a week.
