After the Inverness branch of the Royal British Legion Scotland raised concerns that road closures in the surrounding area could cause difficulties, particularly for older people and those with mobility problems, attending the event, the Glenmoriston Hotel has offered use of its car parks.

The entrance will be via the Haugh Road only.

The service is preceded by a parade which will set off from Huntly Street to the war memorial at 2.30pm. Each year, the event attracts hundreds of people wanting to honour those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.

Motorists are being advised of several road closures in the area for safety reasons.

Although they will take place between 2pm and 5pm, the roads listed in the schedule will be closed for short periods only under Police traffic control measures.

The Infirmary Bridge will be closed between 1pm and 5pm.
