DW Fitness First Inverness raised £500 during its Fitness Fun Day at Eastgate Shopping Centre.

The money will go to MFR Cash for Kids.

Staff organised a raffle and a bake sale and also ran a competition to win a one-year membership for the gym.

Participants had to guess how many miles health and fitness manager George Reid would cycle within six hours – with the final total being 124.

DW Fitness First manager Hollie McIver said the event was a success and they sold around 2000 raffle tickets with prizes ranging from shopping vouchers to a dinner-for-two, as well as tickets for a Caley Thistle game.
