Inverness dance society marks diamond white anniversary in style

Inverness and District branch of The Royal Scottish Country Dance Society has marked its 75th anniversary with a special celebration.

Highland Council acknowledged the occasion with an “excellent reception” in Inverness Town House, said branch chair Isla Henderson.

It was attended by members past and present.

“Congratulations were received from King Charles III, who is the new patron of the society,” Isla added.

There was also a visit in-person from Gary Coull, the society’s newly-elected chairman.
