OFFICIALS from Highland Disability Sport will cut the ribbon to open the fourth Tesco store in Inverness next week — and receive a £1000 donation.
A cheque will be given to representatives of the city-based charity, who will be guests of honour at the opening of the new supermarket in Dores Road, Holm next Monday.
Store manager Andrew Themis said the charity was chosen because of the great work it does in the local area.
"I am really looking forward to them officially opening the store, and presenting them with their cheque," he said.
Mr Themis has also received the keys to the store, signifying structural work which began in March is now complete.
The store has created 140 new jobs.
