Velocity Café in Inverness has closed for a few days due to Covid.

The bicycle workshop part of the business in Crown Avenue is still open.

In a statement on Facebook, a representative of the business said: "Unfortunately due to the continuing effect of Covid the café is currently closed while staff complete mandatory isolation periods and others await results of their PCR test.

"We apologise for any inconvenience caused and hope you understand that the safety of our staff and customers is of utmost importance to us.

"All being well we will be back open at 9am on Wednesday, September 8.

"Best wishes and we hope to see you all soon.

"Please note that the workshop is still open by appointment only – please use the side door to the right of the café entrance when dropping off your bike."
