One of the UK's leading accountancy firms has promoted Inverness accountant Margi Campbell to Partner within its Highland capital office.

Margi has worked for UK Top 20 accountancy firm Saffery Champness since 2017.

Both CA and CTA qualified, she is a regular speaker at local and regional events on tax-related issues and has addressed audiences at the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the Society of Law Accountants of Scotland (SOLAS), the Scottish Rural College (SRUC) and the Scottish Government Farm Advisory Service (FAS).

She provides advice and tax planning to a client base that includes entrepreneurs, high net worth individuals, professional partnerships, landed estates, and family and farming businesses.

Coll Murchison-MacDonald, Partner, Saffery Champness and head of the firm’s Inverness office, said: "We are absolutely delighted to announce Margi's promotion.

"Margi is an excellent all-round adviser with a broad range of expertise supporting clients across both accounting and tax issues and will ensure we continue to provide and maintain the high level of service for which the firm is held in high regard. Having grown up on a farm and dealt with rural businesses over many years in the Highlands and beyond, she is extremely familiar with many of the challenges they face, both large and small."
