Inverness-based language company The TEFL Org achieves B Corp certification
An Inverness-based English teaching organisation has been certified as a B Corporation.
The TEFL Org (Teach English as a Foreign Language) joins a growing movement of companies reinventing business for the benefit of all people and the planet.
Verified by B Lab, the not-for-profit behind the B Corp movement, the achievement demonstrates that The TEFL Org meets high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability alongside a commitment to goals beyond shareholder value.
B Corp Certification assesses the entirety of a business’ operations.
The TEFL Org is now part of a growing community of over 8,000 businesses globally that have certified as B Corps.
Chris Turner, executive director of B Lab UK, says: “We are delighted to welcome The TEFL Org to the B Corp community.
