Inverness arts group needs an intern

Inverness artists’ collective Circus Artspace are looking for an intern interested in gaining first-hand experience of all activities carried out by the group.

Based at the Inverness Creative Academy in Crown Circus, the group is made up of professional artists and producers committed to making contemporary art accessible to a broader Highland audience.

The successful intern would take part in all aspects of Artspace projects.

This includes the day-to-day running of contemporary art exhibitions as well as administrative tasks and marketing.

The post would require someone who can work independently and flexibly for one day a week normally and three days a week during exhibitions.

The internship would be for a period of three months.

A spokesperson said: “We are delighted that all our former interns have developed their own collective – Circus Sideshow. All past interns will have the opportunity to join this growing network after their three month internship.

“Sideshow members are currently supporting each other’s practices through different learning and sharing opportunities, along with peer review sessions, while continuing to be part of the wider Circus family.”
