TRUCK enthusiasts from across Scotland descended on the banks of Loch Ness for an annual show of monster vehicles.

TruckNess, which celebrates the contribution of those working in the haulage industry, attracted about 2000 people during the day-long event at Clune Farm, Dores.

Lead organiser George Maclennan said it was the best ever since the first one was held in 2013.

“The turnout was absolutely great,” he said. “We were busy all day. The show is now getting big enough that we would like a sponsor to come forward to help us with it.

“We do fundraising throughout the year for start-up costs to support the event and to pay for things such as first aid and security so a main sponsor would go a long way to help.”

Attractions included live music and fairground rides.
