A HOUSE in Ardersier has been gutted by a fierce blaze.

The incident happened on Saturday afternoon in High Street.

No one was injured in the blaze but the roof and interior were extensively damaged.

Fire crews from Inverness, Nairn, Dingwall and Forres went to the scene after the alarm was raised at 12.10pm.

They reported it was out at 6.48pm.
