Highland Hospice has achieved the prestigious Investors in People Gold Accreditation.

For nearly 30 years the award has been recognised internationally as a key indicator of how well organisations work with their employees in leading, supporting and fully developing their workforce.

The hospice believes the gold award demonstrates just how truly committed it is to providing a great working experience for its people.

Chief executive Kenny Steele said: “It’s one thing to say that the people in the organisation are the most important asset, but it’s another thing to live up to that statement.

“It is through the collective efforts of everyone in Highland Hospice that we are able to serve our community and we feel very proud to have this investment in our people recognised.”

He added: “However it doesn’t stop here and we know that maintaining and continually improving how we support the hospice team will be key to our future success.”

Highland Hospice ensures people across the Highlands receive the best possible care and support when faced with life-shortening illness, death and bereavement.
