Highland property and construction dinner raises £20k for local charities

An annual business dinner has raised £20,000 for local charities.

The eleventh Highland Construction and Property Dinner took place at the Drumossie Hotel on November 22, with over 300 guests in attendance.

The event is a chance to reflect on the construction and property industry.

Billy Sweeney, director of Safety Training Solution was given the industry excellence award at the event.

Highland Actions for Little Ones (HALO), Sea Scouts, My Self-Management and Grow-Project will all receive a share of the £20k raised.

Scott McLean, volunteer committee member said: “The 2024 Highland Construction and Property Dinner is concluded for another year with an extremely successful Event being held in the Drumossie Hotel, Inverness.

“It was another fantastic evening where the Highland Construction and Property Sectors came together to recognise achievements and raise funds for local charities. The organising Committee were delighted to award the Industry Excellence Award to Billy Sweeney.
