Dundonnell Mountain Rescue Team has taken delivery of a new 4x4 pick-up to replace a 15-year-old vehicle.

The new one will be based at Cannich.

Team leader Iain Nesbitt said: “Vehicles represent very significant acquisitions for the team, and obviously they are assets which require to be replaced from time to time.

“We’re delighted with this new Isuzu, which was supplied by Corrie Motors, and I would like to acknowledge the role played by the generosity of all who have donated and raised money for the team over the years.

“Without them we would struggle to operate.”

He added it was beneficial to have the vehicle based near the Munros of Affric and Mullardoch.
