Highland charity Blythswood Care issues festive afternoon tea invite as it raises cash for people in need in Eastern Europe, Africa, and India
A Highland-based charity is looking to share a pre-Christmas cup of tea and treat to help those in need around the world.
Blythswood Care’s annual winter afternoon tea will be held on Friday, November 15 at 1.30pm until 4pm.
This year's venue will be the Kingsmills Hotel in Inverness where organisers are promising an afternoon of “fantastic food, great company, and a chance to support those in need across Eastern Europe, Africa, and India”.
Tickets are available at Blythswood Care’s website. https://blythswood.org/
Guests can also take part in a lively game of heads or tails, outbid each other in a silent auction and find unique gifts from an array of local craft stalls.
Fundraising manager Neill Prentice said: “This is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a festive atmosphere, connect with friends and find unique gifts in time for Christmas.
“With the help of our generous sponsors at Caley Timber, all money raised will go towards supporting Blythswood’s projects and partners across Scotland, Eastern Europe, Africa, and India.”
Blythswood Care is a Christian charity with a mission to help those in need and change lives for good, forever.
To that end , it organises many programmes, ranging from after-school projects in the streets of Mumbai to providing aid and shelter to those affected by the war in Ukraine.
Mr Prentice added: “Our winter afternoon teas have become a popular event in our calendar and we would love to see you there.”.
Tickets are £28 per person or £200 for a table of eight.
