Inverness is top spot in Scotland for having an affair

Inverness is Scotland's most adulterous city, according to a new cheating map.
The list drawn up by a dating website for married people shows 4803 people in the Highland capital are having an affair – up 12 per cent from 4274 last year.
The figures place Inverness at the number nine hotspot across UK cities.
The interactive Infidelity Index, which has been compiled by IllicitEncounters.com, allows users to search a city, town or postcode to discover how many people are having affairs in any locality.
According to the map, there were 447 people in the IV1 postcode having an affair – up from 387 last year – while in the IV2 area there were 1200 love cheats compared with 1074 last year.
In IV3 the figure was 537, an increase from 466 last year.
IllicitEncounters.com spokesman Christian Grant said adultery was booming in Inverness.
“Lots of couples in the region in and around Inverness cannot afford to divorce due to the cost of establishing two new homes, so they are sticking with their partner and adding some spice to their marriage by discreetly having an affair," he said.
“They know that with a site such as IllicitEncounters they can have an affair with a like-minded partner who is also looking to cheat. Both sides can have some fun without upsetting things at home.”
