2022 Highland Business Women Awards shortlist

Sponsored by the Springfield Group, the annual Highland Business Women Awards take place this month.

From paddleboarding instructors to estate agents, the 2022 Highland Business Women Awards will showcase a breadth of achievements and successes from women across the region.

HBW president Donna Smith has said that it is a privilege to recognise the amazing business women across the Highlands.

Talking about the finalists for the awards, Mrs Smith said:

“We are so excited to see the unveiling of our finalists this week and we’d like to thank everyone that submitted a nomination.

“We truly have some amazing business women in our region and being able to recognise them through these awards is such a privilege and we’re sure that hearing about their successes on the night will inspire us all.”

The HBW 2022 shortlist:

New business of the year (sponsored by Business Gateway): Coached by Rhoda; Paddle Bliss Nairn; The Face Place; Oldshoremore Retreats; and Kennedy Accounting.

Business woman of the year (sponsored by Northern Innovation Hub): Emma Mulraine, Behind the Scenes; Erica Morrison, INTERIOR35; Roma Gibb, Person Centred Solution Ltd; Karen Simpson, My Primary Tutor; and Alexandra Mackenzie, Home Sweet Home Estate Agents.

Business resilience award: Cecilia Grigor, Planit Scotland; and Linda Birnie, Thinking Space.

Team of the year (sponsored by Jewson): Eilidh Edgar, DYW Inverness and Central Highland hosted by ICC; Fiona Dalgetty, Fèis Rois Ltd; and Cecilia Grigor, Planit Scotland.

Best third sector organisation (sponsored by Tulloch Homes): Emily Stokes, Mikeysline; and Leigh-Ann Little, The Oxygen Works.
