A Highland business consultancy is celebrating its third birthday by launching a draw to provide business improvement services – free of charge – to SMEs (small and medium sized enterprises) in the region.

Ross-shire-based Thystle Ltd will provide three SME MOTs for local businesses looking to level up their operations and streamline their business practices.

Donna Smith, owner of Thystle Ltd, has launched the scheme to give back to the business community that has supported her during her company’s first three years.

She said: “When I started Thystle Ltd, I set out to provide a lifeline for SMEs in the Highlands that found themselves drowning in a sea of out-of-date processes and inefficient business practices.

“Over the last three years I am proud to have worked with many businesses across the region, helping them streamline their operations, improve profitability by removing unnecessary work, and reduce stress by making things simpler.

“I have received a lot of support from the Highland business community throughout Thystle Ltd’s first three years, so I am delighted to be able to give something back to celebrate this company milestone.”

Thystle Ltd’s SME MOTs provide a review of current processes and IT systems, allowing business owners and managers the opportunity to gain an outside perspective on where processes can be streamlined and improved.

Free SME MOTs will be available to successful applicants across three categories: third sector organisations; start-ups (that have been in business for two years or less); and SMEs with fewer than 20 employees.

Interested businesses have until Friday, April 29, to enter the competition by filling in a simple form at www.thystle.co.uk. A winner will then be drawn in each category from all successful entries.

Thystle Ltd was founded by Mrs Smith in 2019, following a 20-year career in business management and improvement. Specialising in process and systems reviews, change management, documentation and process improvement, Thystle Ltd offers business consultancy services to public and private sector organisations across the north of Scotland.
