Highland Action for Little Ones (Halo) has received a £1000 boost from the local business community.

The donation comes after Highland Business Women selected the cause as its charity of the year. The amount was pledged by Jarvie Plant Hire.

Iris Thompson-Burton, charity ambassador at Highland Business Women said: “We are absolutely thrilled that the power of our network is able to connect our charity year with Jarvie Plant Hire and their community give back initiative.

“The donation of £1000 will enable Halo to support more families in need. Since Halo came into being in January 2023, they have helped almost 2000 families by providing vital assistance in the increasing cost of living crisis.”

Halo supports children and families in need across the Highlands by providing essential items.
