A CANCER charity is inviting people to celebrate the birth of Scotland’s National Bard with a Haggis at Home fundraiser.

Marie Curie is urging supporters to enjoy their own Burns suppers at home in support of those impacted by death, dying and bereavement.

The charity, which needs to raise £250,000 a month to provide services in Scotland, says fundraising has been hit due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Its Haggis at Home, from January 18-31, includes a menu, poems and songs by Robert Burns, music from a piper and harpist and a family quiz.

There is a suggested minimum £10 donation to receive the pack.
