Inverness Cathedral to host Harps of Gold Christmas concert by Highland Clarsach Society

25 harpists of all ages are to showcase a Christmas repertoire at Inverness Cathedral this weekend.

The first concert of its kind by the Highland branch of the Clarsach Society expects some old favourites alongside some more unusual pieces, with the cathedral’s organ on some.

The society which exists to promote the Scottish harp runs come-and-try sessions and workshops throughout the year.

The cathedral concert takes place on Sunday from 3.30-4.30pm.

Tickets priced £10 will be available on the door and include tea and cake available from 3pm.
